It was the best of times in the cosmos, it was the worst of times in the asteroid fields. The JOSH KITTENS, a band of brave feline miners, had been unjustly imprisoned in the dreaded IMPERIAL ROCK QUARRY by the tyrannical High Secretary Mnexismith the Generally Unmerciful.
For nineteen long years, they toiled beneath the crushing weight of oppression, their spirits unbroken, their whiskers unbent. Among them was JOSH ALPHA, whose friendship with the wise old sage JOSH RED taught him that hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
But beneath the surface of their prison asteroid, the mysterious FRAGGLES - ancient rock-dwelling creatures - had been secretly excavating a tunnel to freedom, sustained only by the nanobioquantumsilicate DOOZER STICKS and their depressing yet frabjous songs of liberation.
When the tunnel was finally complete, JOSH ALPHA led his fellow kittens through the Space Fraggle caves, past the singing Interspatial Doozers, and into the vast expanse of space. They emerged not as prisoners, but as FREE CATS, destined to mine the asteroids not for tyranny, but for JUSTICE.
But High Secretary Mnexismith's EVIL DOG EMPIRE pursues them still, hunting them across the galaxy. With only their wits, their mining lasers, and the ancient wisdom of the Space Fraggles to guide them, the JOSH KITTENS must survive, build their fleet, and reclaim their stolen territories.
One day, they swear upon the favorite Interspatial Doozer Sticks, they shall return to free their brothers and sisters still trapped in the quarry. Until then, they mine. They build. They survive.
